Facial Balancing

Achieve Balance and Harmony with Dermal Fillers and Neurotoxins

There are many options for facial rejuvenation, including dermal fillers and neurotoxins. But have you heard of facial balancing? It is a technique that involves the use of these injectables to achieve balance and harmony in the face. Facial balancing is a signature treatment that combines my anatomical knowledge and artistic vision to beautifully balance the entire face. It is a highly personalized approach to rejuvenating the face using a combination of fillers and neurotoxins.

Here's everything you need to know about facial balancing with dermal fillers and neurotoxins.

What is facial balancing?

Facial balancing is a technique that involves the use of dermal fillers and neurotoxins to create balance and symmetry in the face. It is based on the idea that facial beauty is all about balance and harmony.

Our skilled injector can create a more balanced and natural-looking appearance by strategically placing fillers and neurotoxins in specific areas of the face. Just remember that every liquid lift is different; the number of botox units and filler syringes varies based on your unique facial anatomy, the degree of volume loss, bone structure, skin elasticity and your aesthetic goals.

What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable gels containing hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body. They can be used to enhance facial features and add volume to the face.

During facial balancing filler injections are most commonly used in the cheeks, chin, jawline, lips, and nasolabial folds.

I treat my clients with Teosyal RHA fillers. RHA stands for “Resilient Hyaluronic Acid,” meaning that the hyaluronic acid formula retains its integrity better after being stretched, bent, and compressed. What this means is that this filler will integrate naturally into your skin, without bumps, and simultaneously deliver long-lasting results. Each RHA injectable works differently, and each patient’s unique anatomy dictates which products work best to treat signs of aging. Most traditional fillers have stiff properties which do not allow for natural facial movements. Beyond staying flexible in motion, the RHA line has also been called a “clean injectable” and a “designer filler".

What are neurotoxins?

Neurotoxins are injectables that temporarily relax the facial muscles. Botox is the most well-known neurotoxin, but there are others on the market, such as Dysport and Nucieva They are frequently used to remove wrinkles and lines from the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes. Neurotoxins can also be used to reduce the size and improve the shape of your jawline.

How does facial balancing work?

Facial balancing entails a personalized approach based on each individual's distinct facial features and concerns.

During your consultation, our injector will assess your face to determine where fillers and neurotoxins should be placed to achieve balance and harmony.

For example, if you have a weak chin, your injector may use fillers to add volume and create a more defined jawline. Fillers can also be used to smooth out prominent nasolabial folds and create a more youthful appearance.

Additionally, neurotoxins can help to balance out the effects of fillers by relaxing specific muscles in the face, resulting in a more natural-looking result.

What are the benefits of facial balancing?

Facial balancing offers many benefits, including:

  • A more natural-looking appearance:
By using dermal fillers and neurotoxins to create balance and harmony in the face, a skilled injector can achieve a more natural-looking result than simply adding volume to certain areas.
  • Improved facial symmetry:
Many people have subtle asymmetries in their face, such as one cheek that's slightly higher than the other. Facial balancing can help to correct these asymmetries and create a more harmonious appearance.
  • Customized results:
Because facial balancing is tailored to each individual's unique features, the results are highly customized and can address specific concerns.
  • Long-lasting results:
Dermal fillers and neurotoxins can provide long-lasting results, with some products lasting up to two years.

What is the recovery time for facial balancing?

The recovery time for facial balancing is determined by the specific treatments used and your individual healing process. Most people experience some swelling and bruising after the injections, which usually goes away after a few days. You may also notice redness or tenderness at the injection sites.

It is important to avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for at least 24 hours after the injections. We also recommend that you sleep on your back and avoid touching or rubbing the treated areas for 24 to 48 hours after your treatment.

Is facial balancing right for me?

Facial balancing may be a good option for anyone who wants to achieve a more balanced and natural-looking face.

It is important to note, however, that not everyone is a good candidate for facial balancing. Certain medical conditions, such as allergies or bleeding disorders, could prevent patients from receiving injectable treatments safely. It's also important to set realistic goals and recognize that facial balancing isn't a one-size-fits-all solution.

Finally, when it comes to achieving optimal results with facial balancing, selecting the right injector is critical. Look for a qualified and experienced injector with a thorough understanding of facial anatomy and a keen eye for balance and symmetry.
